"Some of my responsibilities include helping with bids, reviewing plan specifications, and creating takeoffs for estimations. I am included in all meetings between subcontractors, owners, and teams. Because of this internship, I have a better understanding of what it means to work in the construction field as a project manager, superintendent, and estimator."
– Mitchell Doughtery
"On site, I learned how to perceive bid drawings and sets into real life construction, understand the rigorous scheduling that needs to be followed, and how to maintain structure to complete deadlines. What I enjoyed most about this internship was being able to feel like an important asset to the company and be able to make decisions that had a direct impact on some of the projects."
